Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Advanced Nurse Practitioners, this could be your opportunity to join us in primary care.

We have an opportunity for an ANP to join our team on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

You will have excellent clinical assessment skills, and be prepared to work autonomously to manage  a wide range of undifferentiated acute presentations. Ideally, you will be a non-medical prescriber with experience of undertaking face to face and remote triage consultation. You will be working alongside our friendly and supportive duty GP and Nurse Practitioner team, providing same day advice and care or our patient population of 16 000+.

We are looking for someone adaptable to workload and operational changes within primary care, and would love to hear what you can bring to our practice.

There are 22 hours per week available from August 2020 for a fixed term to cover maternity leave.

Clinical Lead Manager

Is this the next step in your clinical career?

This is a new opportunity for a portfolio clinician to join our forward thinking and friendly practice to provide clinical management for our doctors, nurses, pharmacist and practice nurses.

You will be supported by the GP Partnership Governance Leads, and CQC Registered Manager to deliver clinical management and services. You will ensure a wide range of clinical services, preventative medicine, and health promotion are delivered effectively to the practice population. You will ensure the delivery of QOF and other contractual and legislative obligations, including the requirements of CQC registration. You will also be in a position to examine and develop new clinical service opportunities as they arise.

We will also expect you to lead clinical supervision and appraisal within the practice, as well as advise the nursing and administrative team when clinical dilemmas arise. You will be working closely with, and complement the services and skills provided by, our Practice Manager.

You will be a registered healthcare professional, ideally with experience working in a primary care environment. You will be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical knowledge and skills, and have an understanding of health issues, health promotion and public health. You will have a broad knowledge of clinical governance and clinical risk management, and the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team.

The role will complement an existing patient facing or clinical management role.

Hours: to fit with other commitments, and expected to be at least 8 hours, up to a max of 16 hours per week.
